Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your Merisa Kiddo account and associated personal data without signing in to the app.

  1. Email merisakiddocloud@gmail.com with the subject “Merisa Kiddo account and data deletion”, or contact your school office.
  2. Give your school name and the email address or phone number associated with your account. State whether you want account deletion, correction, or deletion of particular data. Never send your password.
  3. We or your school will verify your identity and any guardian authority, explain the records affected, and respond within the deadlines required by applicable law.

What happens to your information

Approved account deletion removes or deactivates your login and revokes associated access and device sessions. Associated personal information that no longer has a lawful purpose should be deleted or anonymised. The request is handled by the school and platform support; submitting an email does not instantly erase records.

Records that may remain

Learner education records, safeguarding records, invoices and receipts, security logs and other information may need to remain for legal obligations, dispute resolution or another lawful school purpose. Removing a parent’s account does not automatically remove the learner’s records or another guardian’s access. The school should explain which records are retained, why, and for how long. Backups follow their applicable expiry cycle.

Copies on your phone

Uninstalling or signing out does not delete your account. Remove downloaded or shared copies from your device and other apps separately. Contact the school if you still need essential information after account access ends.
